My famous brownies

1/4 C. butter

4 squares unsweetened chocolae

1 C.  sugar 

1 C. flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

2 eggs, baten

1 tsp. Vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350. In the top of a double boiler, melt butter and chocolate. When completely melted, remove from heat. Stir in sugar, then eggs and vanilla. When completely mixed together add flour and baking powder. Pour into greased 9" square baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool before slicing. Makes 16 brownies.
