My rekindled love...

Dusted off and loved again….

Dusted off and loved again….

My apologies first to my boyfriend. I have rekindled a love — a love for my Food Keeper. I got it a few years ago as a gift. Full disclosure, I asked my mom to get it for me with boxes of bags. Dreams of single meal servings of chicken, fish, etc. danced in my head like sugarplum fairies. Then my daughter became flexitarian and the only meat that graces her lips is Applegate organic deli turkey and occasionally sausage. My dream went out the window on the wings of the sugarplum fairies. I can easily buy a single chicken breast or piece of salmon and freeze it in its existing packaging. And honestly, I never bothered, because cooking two meals never appealed to me. Today my dreams were realized again. I used my food keeper to divide large bags of frozen veggies (the store didn’t have the small ones, but at least they had frozen veggies at all) in to two servings. And when my roast chicken is done (I bothered this time), I can freeze leftovers using my food keeper for future meals. The sugarplum fairies are back and smiling (and I’m smiling too).
