Chickpea Tacos

2 Can chickpeas

2 tsp. chili powder

2 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 C. soy sauce

2 Tbsp. Olive oil

Corn Tortillas

Sour cream

Drain and Prince the chickpeas. Heat the oil in a skillet add the chickpeas and the spices. Stir to coat the chickpeas. Add the soy sauce, stir and cook until heated through. Warm the tortillas in a hot cast-iron skillet or over the gas flame. Serve with sour cream and carrot slaw (see below).

Carrot Slaw

2 medium carrots

1 lime

1-2 Tbsp Cilantro (dried or fresh chopped)

1/2 Tbsp. olive oil

Wash and grate the carrots (you do not need to peel them). Mix with the juice of the lime, oil, and cilantro. Serve to top the tacos.
