The search is over

Last fall I wrote a blog post on the dizzying effect of trying to find a new orthopedic neck pillow to replace the worn one I had. Well, fast forward to today. I am redoing my bedroom and today they are painting the room. Since I cleared everything out of the room save a few large pieces of furniture, I decided to wash all my pillows and even my mattress cover. When I went to wash my orthopedic pillow, I decided to check the tag to see if I could wash it. The answer is no.

The tag had the company name on it. A Google search showed that I could buy it on Amazon. Are you kidding me?! I had a pain in my neck figuratively and literally months ago trying to find a suitable replacement and the whole time I could buy the exact same pillow. No wonder the tags on mattresses and other bedding, says “Do Not Remove.”

Am I kicking myself? You bet. And here’s the other kicker, I have an extra slightly used orthopedic pillow in my closet. The next time I need to buy a replacement, I’ll start with looking at the object first for any information that may help me in my search. This way I’ll avoid any pains in the neck that may occur— figuratively and/or literally.

This is it— the holy grail!
