Outside the box.....

I have a confession, I like to do crossword puzzles. More specifically I like to do the crossword puzzle in a local free newspaper. Even if don't get the newspaper, I print it out. Often, I do the puzzle at lunch (since I often eat my kitchen counter). For anyone who knows about crossword puzzles, they start with the across clues and then the down clues. Today, I started the puzzle as your supposed to with the across clues. Pretty quickly I realized I wasn't getting many of them. I switched to doing the down clues and was able to complete the puzzle. So the moral of the story is that if the tried and true way isn't working then think outside the box to complete the task.

(P.S. I have another confession. I do this particular puzzle because I can complete it and this little achievement everyday motivates me. And before you ask, I am scared of the New York Times Crossword because my graduated-college-in-three-years dad could't do it.)
