OMG, it is hot!

Again, it is too hot to handle. AC is having to work double time to keep a place cool. What are some other ways to keep your place cool? Three things that I do at night are bake, run the washer and dryer, and run the dishwasher.
Other ideas:
· Close your window coverings during the day.
· Run exhaust fans and/or ceiling fans if you have them.
· Open windows at night.
· Consider grilling dinner.
· Place fans strategically to cool down the most-used rooms. — Lisa Milbrand, Real Simple
To make a DIY cooler. Place ice or frozen water bottles in front of a fan. The air will cool as it passes the ice. For other DIY coolers, check out this article by Katie Cier for Uncharted Supply Co. — DIY Coolers
As I mentioned in my last post, remember to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and seek shade whenever possible. And be thankful for the AC invented in 1902 by Willis Carrier.
