I'm in CRISIS MODE.

And no it is not COVID related. Many years ago, I found a weekly planner that I can no longer live without. The planner is perfect in every way. If it were a man, I would want to marry him. However, I waited too long to order one for 2021. The only versions available are big and not in my opinion tote bag friendly. The 7” X 9” size is more “sit on a desktop” to me. In the spring, I began an on-demand coaching curriculum focusing on the business side of of a coaching practice. One of the suggestions of the program is to sign-up for an auto-scheduling program and link it to an online calendar such as Google for prospective client calls. The thought of going to an online calendar and giving up my paper planner to me is a “shonda” to use a Yiddish word (meaning: a shame). It feels like blasphemy to do this and yet what the coaching program is suggesting would actually be better for growing my business. I help my clients see the error of their unproductive ways, so why can’t I help myself see that a paper calendar is so industrial revolution and the way of the future for coaching is the technological revolution? Could it be that an online calendar is outside my comfort zone and we tend to shy away from these things? Could it be that I have been using a planner for probably 35 years (I used to buy a teacher's plan book to record my assignments in MS and HS) and feel nostalgic about it? Whatever the case may be, my beloved calendar is not in stock until after the new year. I guess the universe is telling me to join the technological revolution. I will do so, begrudgingly and with trepidation, but by-golly I will do it. If you use an online calendar and want to share some tips, tricks, and wisdom, please do so. I’ll need all the help and support I can get.
