Wealth of Health update....

To get my wealth of health journey started, I began a 30-day nutritional cleanse. This entailed spending yesterday and Monday on a deep cleanse to rid my body of the remains of my food intolerances (and toxins). Already I feel better and my clothes fit better. It helped that my friend (and certified health coach) Marie, checked in on me by text over the two days. I felt like I couldn't let her down. So this got my thinking about other journeys I can take and other people I may be letting down (beside myself). So next week, I plan to embark on a Money Makeover journey to get my finances in order and understand my spending habits. My late father taught me the value of budgeting in High School (I had to submit a budget for back-to-school shopping, really) and so I still budget today. However, beyond this my fineness are murky to me and so to honor my dad who would be 79 this month (and not let his memory down), I am embarking on second journey. If I plan to raise my daughter to spend wisely, budget, save and be in control of her money, then I must be a role model on this front. First up, getting Quicken to work on my computer to track all my accounts. It is a good thing that I am deep cleansing again next Monday and will be home, so I can call Quicken customer service (since my HD was replaced, Quicken stopped working).
